Ultimo (AKA Diamond) is one of two males from Zap's last litter. Both Ursus and Diamond were held back to move the Zap line forward at Austerlitz Shepherds and we are so pleased that both males have passed their health testing and matured into wonderful dogs.
While Diamond is often overshadowed by his brother Ursus (aka Bubbles) who had his first crop of progeny in 2025 we have big plans for Ultimo going forward.
This super sporty boy has been enjoying coursing and fast cat, but we are hoping to debut him in Rally, dock diving, and maybe even agility as time permits.
Diamond is a playful, bouncy, sweet, and agile dog despite his powerful appearance. He enjoys any and all training, hiking, and playing with his dog friends.
Diamond is an upper medium size black and red male whose pedigree spans five generations of our own breeding, going all the way back to Susanne's first and second GSDs Quinta v Westfork and Indeigh v Spezialblut. His pedigree is mostly older German show lines with the usual assortment of notable and important VAs and Siegers.
