Ursus (aka Bubbles) is one of two males from Zap’s final litter. (The other being Ultimo OFA)  Zap has been an outstanding producer for our program, is the dam of Narada (Spark), and is a wonderful way to move forward with many of our foundation lines.  Zap’s sire Brego goes back to Susanne’s first German Shepherd, Quinta v Westfork, through her beloved son Frisco v d burg Austerlitz.   Her dam Omen carries forward our Lucy tail female line to the foundation female Gibsy v Wiesenborn and she also carries to our foundation female Indeigh v Spezialblut via the Pyro-Hasso-Indeigh route.    As such Zap’s pedigree goes back on all of our foundation females, Quinta v Westfork, Indeigh v Spezialblut, Gibsy v Wiesenborn, and Eileen v Kafitweite and this makes Bubbles very special to us and an important dog for our program going forward. 

Bubbles is an upper medium sized male, around 85Lbs, with very strong bone, rich pigment and a full black blanket.   He has a strong, level, top line, moderate angles in the front and rear, and a long underline.    His athletic and moderate structure are correct to our type and the breed’s heritage.    

Despite his formidable appearance, Bubbles is a confident, happy, social, and kind hearted dog who is great with all his dog friends, even the little dogs, puppies, the pushy dogs, and the rude dogs.   He is a favorite with the girl dogs due to his playful personality and excellent social skills.    Bubbles is great in the house, travels well, and is an enjoyable and reliable dog to take anywhere.   He’s good for veterinary care, nail trims, and has very low body sensitivity.    He’s one of those dogs who naturally does most everything right, has good judgement, and is dependable in all ways.   We are looking forward to many outstanding progeny from Bubbles as he moves our program into the next generation.   Bubbles debuts in 2025 with some Fast Cats and two litters on the ground.
