Roseigh (aka Skittle) is our beautiful solid black (recessive) German working line daughter of Frankeigh and Lasha*.   From Frankeigh’s first litter, the R sisters are the first to be health tested, with very pleasing results, and they will hopefully take their place on our breeding schedule for the future.     Skittle is a medium sized GSD, as is her sire, and she is of his type.   For those with a long memory of our program Skittle is a perfect, if black, replica of Helge v d burg Austerlitz (a littermate to Pyro’s sire Hasso) and is very similar to “Blackie” in many ways.    Skittle is an extremely athletic dog with great structure, size, and physical prowess.   She is quick in all ways and while her impulsive nature occasionally gets her into a spot of bother she is maturing into a happy dog who loves everything about life.    Like her sire she loves any and all games of fetch, tug, and disc, anything with jumping and running, or finding, and she is extremely loyal and in tune with both Susanne and Rebecca.   She is a hoot to train, feels like driving a sports car when working, and is the most genuine dog you would ever meet.

*We know Skittle's modern working line heritage through her mother Lasha present their own problems and challenges in the breed. We decided to include this line for the overall quality of temperament, health, sound athletic structure, and the above average breeding quality of Lasha’s litter and motherline.   Our long time commitment to building our program based on exceptional females and exceptional German breeders made it impossible to resist adding Lasha’s genetics to our program.   We are working hard to move forward the positives (and there are many) while negating the negatives sometimes seen in modern sport lines.   We feel both Rainbow and Roseigh are a great first step in this project which will continue with home bred males of the show lines such as Ursus and Ultimo.   Overall we do feel that the puppies from this line will be best suited to experienced GSD owners who can handle the hard hitting, high intensity, traits of modern working lines.   If you are looking to compete in dog sport, or have always wanted to, these lines will be outstanding for your needs.
